I agree, he definitely hasn't made me miss Horton. I wasn't sure if the consistent work effort from 46 & 17 wasn't just finally maturing, but I like your answer too, the guy was a captain and is a workhorse, and definitely not a 3rd line winger on ANY team, hard to measure that with stats.

(frank) yeah. KHL line had a hell of a time getting the puck out of the defensive zone last year. That alone makes Iggy worth it. Hope he sticks around like the Recchin Ball.

God I wish the B's had had Iggy, Smith, Loui, and Yeti Mark 2 in the playoffs last year over Horton, Seguin, Jagr, and Pevs. Hats off to Chia for making this team better.

Considering Horton hasn't played a game and got a ridiculous contract, yes. Just hope Iggy doesn't wear down or get bored in Jan/Feb. Seems to happen every year.

It could be a mix of both, but I've often found that he's the guy leading the way and talking it over with 'em before and after sequences.

haha yeah, it's certainly a loaded question given Horton's resume in the playoffs.

I've been saying that a lot. You can't focus on the past, but my goodness is this team far more equipped for a deeper run than last year's bunch.

So far Iginla has been a better all around player for the Bruins, the only thing left to prove is that they can recreate the playoff magic of old.

Iginla doesn't take any shifts off, always finishes checks, doesn't mind being 1st in on the forecheck, reliable in the defensive zone. All better than Horton. I think at the end of the year we will see that the 1st lines slumps were a lot fewer and shorter than with Horton. But you can't deny Horton scored timely goals like we may never see again, that Iginla maybe can't produce.

It totally sucks that we couldn't get Iginla last year, Jagr was a waste except for one blown hooking call vs the Pens. He is the complete opposite of a Bruins style player.

He wouldn't pass to anyone and took shifts 3x longer than he should have. And all thats left is a used disco ball.

Hard to get much deeper,

Last year during the season, and ultimately in the playoffs, the team was done in by third period let downs, by the end, the bruins defense was undermanned and tired, I;'m not sure how much swapping iggy for horton is gonna make a difference, but factor in all the other changes, especially having Smith and louis instead of Pevs and Seguin, I like this team.

Better than a Hail Seguin. Jagr could have been a hero in that Hawks series. I wish he would have swallowed his pride by playing on the third line.

Miracle Max got his two minutes worth. Most embarrassing response to a cheap shot since Cooke's hit on Savvy.

Aww, whatever happened to "hockey play gone bad"? Or is all this vaginal sand part of an effort to help maintain Cape Cod's lovely beaches?

And all you guys did was take your frustrations out on your girlfriend's faces. Just like Lucic would!

We can so learn so much from you.

Winners, meanwhile, whine and beat their girlfriends. So bravo.

Although speaking of losers, nice to see your well-rested team show up against an opponent playing its 3rd game in 4 nights with first place on the line.

What is this beat their girlfriends nonsense coming from?

EDIT: Also it's a Hockey game. What the (frank) does Karma have to with it? Did the Bruins hurt you as child? Psycho.
